This readable and informative book discusses seven major battles fought by the Prophet Mohammad  (PBUH), all based on the testimony of the holy Quran. The book narrates and analyses the circumstances leading to and the effect of the outcome of each battle over the course of Islamic movement. A full chapter is devoted to Islamic Laws of war, spoils of war and prisoners of war. Texts of the Meesaq-al Madina (Chapter of Madina) and Treaty of Hudaibiya and the dawah letters by the Prophet addressed to four rulers of his time which are included in the appendix further enhance the value to the work.

The Author :Mr Syed Aminul Hasan Rizvi is a graduate from Aligarh Muslim University and graduate in law from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Mr Rizvi has two passions, travel and writing. He gave up his legal practice to pursue the two passions and has had his fill in both. He edited the prestigious Muslim tabloid, Radiance Viewsweekly, Delhi for eight years. Besides writing hundreds of articles in English and Urdu on variety of subjects and contributing papers in seminars in India and abroad, Mr Rizvi has authored two books, Muslim Personnel Law and Modern Baitul Hikmat" and "Islamic Primers" six parts) and has edited two landmarks works, 'Supreme court and The Muslim Personal Law' and 'Dialogue Between Hindus and Muslims' both containing his own contributions too.
